To the summerfarm
This experience takes you up to the mountains, where the homestead´s summerfarm is located. We stroll on a tractor road all the way up, which takes about half an hour. On the way, we cross a bridge, and get a magnificent view of the waterfall and gorge. Once there, you can take a look inside the summerfarm house itself, which we call "sel". If it rains, we will sit inside the "sel" to enjoy coffee/tea and some homemade lefse (delicious sweet bread). If the weather is nice, we will sit outside, light a fire, and enjoy the magical view, while I serve a story or two about Huldra (a beautiful but scary creature from the Norwegian folklore). Outside the summerfarm, there are often goats, and maybe a horse or two, grazing during the summer months. This experience is suitable for both adults and children. Total time: about 2-3 hours, depending on what the guests want. Date and time will be agreed upon via email.
